But to see in Imax Dome a film as "Everest" it not only surprises for this: thinking about the weight of the Imax Camera (38,5 kgs with lenses and spool!) he/she wonders us as, even if in version on purpose relieved, the Imax LightWeight Mark II Chamber (kg 17,2) has been transported on the top of the tallest mountain of the world, and as there is been able to turn under so prohibitive conditions. Speaking of Imax Cameras, in the devoted catalog I am of it well 26 model different! And all of this doesn't witness still anything the project, in realization, really in these years, in accord with Martin Lockheed and the Nasa, to send rooms Imax in the space, lodges on the Shuttles.

Returning to the systems of projection, the Imax HD is able of to reproduce 48 frames to the second, the double one of the other projectors!
